From story development and visual worldbuilding to video generation and post-production.

FilmHub 2026 presents Cinematic AI Video Production, an intensive hybrid masterclass exploring how generative AI can be integrated into the filmmaking process – from story development and visual worldbuilding to video generation and post-production.

Led by interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker and AI creative producer Francesca Fini, the programme combines traditional filmmaking practice with generative AI, 3D worldbuilding, visual development and prompting systems.

Across four training days, participants will develop a practical, repeatable workflow for transforming an idea into cinematic sequences while maintaining consistency across story, characters, environments and visual style.

Learning
outcomes

  • 1Develop a story concept, visual framework and creative direction for a cinematic project.
  • 2Create consistent characters, environments, props and visual assets for use across multiple shots.
  • 3Translate a screenplay into a structured shooting list and model-ready prompts, selecting the right AI generation workflow for each shot.
  • 4Build and refine a short cinematic sequence using 3D worldbuilding, AI video generation, continuity, editing, sound and colour grading.

Who should
attend

  • AFilmmakers, directors, writers and storytellers interested in integrating AI into their creative practice.
  • BArtists, designers and visual creatives exploring new approaches to moving image, digital production and worldbuilding.
  • CAdvertising, marketing and content professionals looking to create cinematic campaigns, branded content, commercials and social video using AI.
  • DBeginners, hobbyists and experienced creative practitioners with an interest in cinema, visual storytelling and AI-assisted filmmaking.

Fini

  • Interdisciplinary Artist
  • Filmmaker
  • AI Creative Producer

Francesca Fini is an Italian interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker, performer and AI creative producer working across experimental cinema, video art, performance, installation, 3D animation, AR and VR.

Her practice brings together directing, cinematography, editing, sound design and film production with contemporary AI tools, exploring the relationship between storytelling, technology and moving image.

Fini’s work has been presented internationally at leading festivals and cultural institutions, and she exhibited her AI-driven work at the Ras Al Khaimah Contemporary Art Biennale 2026.

— Her approach to AI filmmaking places storytelling and artistic authorship at the centre of the production process, using AI as part of a broader cinematic workflow rather than as a standalone generation tool.
